Placing an order
When you have submitted the order form you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order, your order number and the details of your order. Your offer to purchase a product or services is accepted after your prescription has been verified and your payment has been proscessed.
Orders can only be accepted from residents in the United Kingdom (including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for delivery in the United Kingdom (or Channel Islands/Isle of Man).
Payment
Payment will be processed at the time of placing your order.
We process payment by approved payment platform(s) (e.g. PayPal), credit or debit card once you place an order with us.
If ordering prescription eyewear, your order will only be processed once your prescription is verified.
Processing
As your order is processed you will be informed by e-mail or telephone if any of the products ordered are not available or if there is a problem with your order.
If ordering prescription eyewear, your order will only be processed once your prescription has been verified.
Stock availability
If any goods ordered are not available, J.HYDE may offer you substitute products of equivalent quality and price. If J.HYDE is unable to offer substitutes or you do not agree to accept such substitutes J.HYDE shall reimburse your payment within 10 days of the date J.HYDE receives your order.

Delivery time frame
We aim to dispatch all products within 10 days of the date of your order, subject to validation of your prescription. Please note we do not guarantee the availability of products or dispatch times. Subject to delays outside our control, the overall delivery period should not exceed 30 days.
Costs
All delivery costs are covered by J.HYDE.
Shipping
Prescription eyewear, non prescription eyewear and accessories will be delivered to the address specified by you on your order as soon as possible by the Royal Mail Signed For service.

General
Please check the goods as soon as possible after delivery to inspect for any damage, defects or discrepancies. In the event there is a problem with the goods please do not use the goods and return them as set out below.
J.HYDE will issue a full refund or replacement of goods in all instances where:
- prescription glasses/sunglasses or contact lenses are supplied to the wrong prescription/specification. products are supplied damaged
- products ordered by you (and which are confirmed by J.HYDE as
available) within 21 days of the dispatch date do not arrive at the delivery address. - products you have ordered are returned to J.HYDE as undeliverable by the postal service
- you exercise your cancellation right and you have cancelled the
Contract between us within the fourteen-day cooling-off period.

Prescription eyewear
Once your eyewear has been glazed with prescription lenses it becomes a bespoke product, normally not eligible for a return or refund.
However at J.HYDE we would like you to be 100% happy with your purchase and understand that issues can arise.
Please contact us and we will be happy to help in any way we can.
Non prescription eyewear and accessories
For non prescription eyewear J.HYDE offer a no quibble 14 day refund or exchange provided that:
- The product has not been used.
- The product is not damaged
- The product is in the original packaging.

Refund timeframe
A refund or replacement will be issued to you following receipt by J.HYDE of the returned goods. Such refund or replacement will be provided within 14 days of the date the returned goods are received.
