We don't sell prescription lenses online. Buy the frame and have lenses fitted by your local optician, or let us fit them in studio. Every J.HYDE lens is Zeiss, and single vision starts with ZEISS ClearView from £80:

A lens is only as good as the measurements behind it. Where your eyes sit in this frame, how high, the tilt and wrap on your face: none of it can be captured through a screen. So we sell J.HYDE Horizon online as a frame only, with clear demo lenses, delivered free anywhere in the UK. Have lenses fitted by your local optician, or come to either studio and we'll make Zeiss lenses after measuring you wearing it.
For varifocals it matters most. The fitting height is measured on the frame itself, and getting it wrong is one of the most common reasons varifocals bought online do not work.

Before you buy
Does the frame come with prescription lenses?
No. Online, Dr. J frames are sold as frame only, with clear demo lenses and free UK delivery. Have lenses fitted by your local optician, or come to either studio: Zeiss ClearView single vision from £80, made after we have measured you wearing the frame, with your eye test (worth £40) included.
Can I use my existing prescription?
Yes. Book a lens consultation and bring your prescription. We still measure you wearing the frame with Zeiss digital measurement, because the prescription alone does not tell us where the lens should sit.
Do I need an eye test?
If your last test was more than two years ago, or your vision has changed, book one. An eye test worth £40 is included with any lens purchase, whether new glasses or lenses in your own frame.
Can I return it?
Frames bought online can be refunded within 14 days of delivery, unworn.
