FRAMING SUCCESS™

FOUR STEPS. RIGHT FIRST TIME.

The method behind every pair of J.HYDE glasses, from the first question in the test room to the fitting when you collect.

Most glasses are sold in the order that suits the shop: pick a frame, then sort out the rest. We do it in the order that suits your eyes.

01 — THE EYE TEST

A MINIMUM OF THIRTY MINUTES. NOT A SLOT.

Retinal photography and pressure checks are included, but the part that matters most is the conversation: how far you sit from a screen, what you drive, what you read, where you squint. Your prescription is the start of the decision, not the end of it.

Every test is with an optometrist. £40 standalone, included with any prescription lens purchase.

02 — THE ZEISS LENS

TWO OPTIONS. AN HONEST ANSWER.

Your optometrist offers two lens options matched to your prescription and your day, and tells you which is right. Every lens is Zeiss, with BlueProtect and DuraVision Platinum as standard. Nothing on that list is an upsell.

03 — THE FRAME

NOW THE STYLIST TAKES OVER.

They know exactly what the lens needs from the frame before you try one on. Shape, width, bridge and colour are chosen for your face and your prescription together, from Dr. J, HYDE or Signature. This is where style stops being guesswork.

04 — PRECISION MEASUREMENT

MEASURED ON YOUR FACE. SHOWN ON SCREEN.

The frame you chose is measured with the Zeiss Visufit 1000 at Cannon Street and the Zeiss i.Terminal at Mere Green: every distance and angle the lens maker needs, captured digitally rather than with a ruler. One to two weeks later you come back for a booked fitting, and we check in after you have worn them.

Four steps. One standard. Every pair.
