Yes. Styling sessions are completely independent from eye tests. If you already have a valid prescription, or if you simply want new frames, you can book a dedicated styling consultation. During this appointment, our eyewear stylists curate options from across the J.HYDE collections — balancing face shape, lifestyle, and personal identity. The focus is entirely on helping you choose glasses that feel intentional and elevate your look, without any pressure to complete an eye test on the same day.

The ZEISS Visufit 1000 is a cutting-edge 3D digital measurement system. It captures over 45 million reference points across your face, creating a complete 3D model of how you wear your frames. This allows us to position your lenses with millimetre precision, accounting for tilt, curvature, and natural posture. The result is sharper, more comfortable vision — and a completely bespoke lens fit that ordinary opticians simply can’t offer.

J.HYDE is a private opticians, which means all of our services are delivered outside the NHS system. We focus on a luxury, precision-led approach with ZEISS technology and fully bespoke eyewear. While we don’t provide NHS sight tests, many patients who are eligible for NHS care still choose J.HYDE for the difference in experience and results.
